Examining issues of non-standard language in educational contexts
LVitC is a two-day, ESRC-funded conference exploring language variation in educational contexts, hosted by the Linguistics Department at Queen Mary University of London.
A workshop-style conference aimed at bringing together researchers, practitioners, and students in order to discuss and share ideas about language variation, i.e. accents and dialects, in the classroom.
Talks will be given by a range of academics and practitioners, and the event is aimed at students, researchers, and practitioners interested in the intersection of language variation and education. Click here for more information about the speakers.
